Learn to Run (13+)

Location: Chaplin Family YMCA (Cambridge)

MONDAYS

6:00pm–7:00pm

Put one foot in front of the other and Learn to Run. This 8-week program will guide you through safe interval ratios of walking and running, building up to 5km. The program will include resources to help you learn about running, proper footwear, hydration, common injuries associated with running and more. Feel supported by our staff, volunteers and make new friends. Running is a great way to build your endurance and improve your overall health and wellbeing. 

 

Fit Parent Challenge

Location: Chaplin Family YMCA (Cambridge)

September 29–November 17, 2022
9:30am–10:30am

Members: $118.40 + HST | Non-Members: $140.00 + HST

This 8-week program is designed for new and/or experienced parents looking to feel stronger and more confident, while taking time to focus on their own wellness and fitness needs. In this group training program, a certified Personal Trainer will work with you in a small group of no more than 6 participants to keep you motivated and accountable to your fitness goals. Equipment such as TRX® and kettlebells will be used to create a fun and effective full-body workout. You’ll receive pre and post assessments of fitness strength, individualized programming, coaching, educational resources and more!
