Get active as a Family

Exercising together brings families together. It gives parents and children the opportunity to have meaningful conversations and really get to know one another. Parents often don't recognize the power they have to model healthy behaviour to their children. When parents and kids are active together, it gives them a common sense of purpose and a goal. Exercise benefits both of them in spirit, mind and body.

Program Schedule

Family/Youth Pickleball

(5 yrs+, parent participating)

What is Pickleball you ask?  It is an oversized ping pong paddle, played on a badminton sized court with a tennis sized net.  This is a fun paddle sport for all ages and all athletic ability levels.  It has very simple rules and is easy to learn and play.  Great Family Fun.

Thursdays:  6:30pm - 8:30pm

Functional Training Room

Keep up on the current training trends by using our new Functional Training Room.  Utlize:  TRX, battleropes, heavy bag, kettle bells and medicine balls.  Families ages 5 and up will be able to participate in this area with a completed Family Fitness Plan.  Once the plan is completed, children will receive a green wrist band that must be worn when using this space.  Sign up anytime at the Membership Desk.

Track

5 yrs+, adult participation required

Another great way to stay active with your children - Run or walk the track.  Stay active and have fun!
