Diabetes Fit

Exercise and healthy eating for better health

  • Diabetes Fit provides customized exercise instruction and education by certified YMCA instructors
  • For individuals at risk of diabetes or managing diabetes
  • Learn how to start and maintain a safe exercise program and the basics of healthy eating 
  • Learn how to set action plans that will help you reach your goals
  • Join others in a small, supportive group setting

The Diabetes Fit group meets twice a week for 1-hour sessions over 12 weeks. Exercise is based on personal health and fitness levels and individual goals.

Tuesday & Thursday      April 10-June 28, 2018        9:00-10:00 am  OR   7:15-8:15 pm

Wednesday & Saturday       April 11-June 27, 2018 (no class May 20)  Wed-6:30-7:30 pm & Sat-9:30-10:30 am  

Program Cost: Free for YMCA members & non-members (time limited offer)

This program is also offered at the Chaplin Family YMCA (Cambridge) and Stork Family YMCA (Waterloo)
