YMCA of Three Rivers

In October the YMCAs of Cambridge and Kitchener-Waterloo, YMCA-YWCA of Guelph, and the YMCA of Stratford-Perth officially unified into one regional entity, our YMCA of Three Rivers. Our camping department is thrilled to be working together.

Why work for the YMCA of Three Rivers Camps Team?

  • Meet like-minded peers, dedicated to making a positive impact in our communities
  • Enhance your leadership, teamwork, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Be a part of a supportive team environment, dedicated to working toward common goals
  • A great way to spend a season (or many!) being active and having fun with children & youth

All of our YMCA Day Camps employment opportunities allow you to have fun, while learning new skills, and making a positive impact on your community. Join our team and support children and youth as they foster positive relationships, learn new skills, and reconnect with nature. The YMCA of Three Rivers have been leaders in summer camp and outdoor recreation for children and youth since 1924.

We plan to build our Leadership and Resource teams, (i.e Coordinators, Programmers) in early February and then Operations and Front Line Counselling teams, (i.e. Counsellors, Lifeguards, Cleaning Staff). Please note that only successful candidates will be contacted for a virtual interview. Your patience during the process is extremely appreciated.

We wish you the best of luck with your application(s).

Please be advised that all programs and dates are subject to change based on COVID-19 Provincial Guidelines.

We are hopeful for the opportunity to be back at camp together. We are excited for the summer and planning both Overnight and Day Camps as if we are are a go for 2021.

Things are changing every day, and to that end, so too may our plans for camp. We have been busy planning for many different scenarios to ensure we are ready to reopen safely. This new working environment encourages creativity, flexibility, and initiative to respond to changing needs-- We may be required to adapt positions, change start dates, or pivot on the programming we offer.
