How to Register for Camp

  • You will be redirected to the Camp Brain Registration Portal to create a new household account
  • The email address that you use for the account will be the main email address we use to connect with you *Bookmark this page ( to make logging back into your account easier 
  • Select the CAMP that you are registering for (ie: Day Camps 2021, or Overnight Camp Belwood etc)
  • Enter your campers information (name, age and gender identity)
  • Follow the steps to select a SESSION – choose as many as you wish and “add to cart”
  • The camp available that session will populate, with a price attached. Click “add to cart”
  • Any available OPTIONS for that camp will appear below (ie: inclusion request, YMCA membership)
  • Once you’ve selected all the sessions and camps, click on “continue”
  • Any mandatory forms to complete registration are marked with a red asterisks *
  • Follow the steps to complete payment
  • You will receive a confirmation email shortly after finalizing your registration

Next Steps

  • You can login to your camp brain registration at any time to verify your session dates, confirm payment amounts and complete all forms prior to summer
  • If you need to make a change to your registration, please email our camp team
  • We will communicate with all families via the email address you set up with your account. Stay tuned for important information about an exciting summer!


Fee Assistance

The YMCA of Three Rivers believes that every child should have the opportunity to attend camp. If your family is in need of Fee Assistance, you may be eligible for camp sponsorship. 

  • To apply for fee assistance, most social support services require your Proof of Income/Income Documentation. This information must be resubmitted yearly. 
  • Although we do all we can to facilitate the access to fee assistance for camp, please note that the availability of fee assistance is subject to funding and camper family eligibility.
  • Interested in giving the gift of camp to children in your community? Donate to our Camp Fund.


If you require financial assistance and you live in Kitchener, Waterloo or Cambridge:

a.) Visit

  • Click "Start your Fee Assist application"
  • Fee Assist LogoCreate an Account or Login to your account
  • Submit your name, address, and email address, and follow the link sent to you
  • Submit your family household information and upload your income documentation
  • Within 2-3 days of completing your registration, you will receive a QUICK INFO CARD via email
  • Download or save the "quick info card" containing your COLOUR CODE and PIN NUMBER
  • Please inform our camping office of your colour code and pin number, by emailing
  • The YMCA Camps Office will then apply your assistance to your camp balance and set up a flexible payment plan for the remaining fees.       
  • We will apply discount associated with your colour code, for a maximum of two sessions

b.)    Do you have a support system that may provide fee assistance for recreational programming? Try connecting with your Recreation, Child & Youth, or Outreach Worker in your community.

Donations at Registration

Want to support your camp? The registration process allows you an opportunity to donate. Your gift supports the development, operations, and involvement of youth within the outdoor and camping environment, helping us ensure that all children have the opportunity to attend camp, where they can make new friends, have fun, and discover their full potential. Please note that donations made at registration are considered part of the deposit and are non-refundable.
