Inclusion Support

Inclusion Facilitators provide additional support for campers who may require it to be successful at camp. Inclusion Facilitators are specifically trained to provide support to campers with disabilities, behavioural challenges, and to assist counsellors in dealing with difficult situations that arise throughout the day. Families are welcome to apply to have their camper supported by an Inclusion Facilitator.

Update: Inclusion Support is now full at all camp locations for Summer 2021. Campers who require 1:1 or additional support to be successful at camp are welcome to bring an external support worker to camp with them. Please contact Sydney at 519-570-6582 or daycamp@ytr.ymca.ca (Subject line: Inclusion) to inform us of any external support workers or to place yourself on our waitlist for YMCA Inclusion Support at camp.
