Volunteer for the YMCA

The Volunteer Experience (in a World with COVID-19)

The COVID-19 situation has rapidly changed the nature of the volunteer opportunities we have available. This new, and unprecedented, reality for all of us, especially those in people-facing service industries, has made it harder to offer the same type of roles we have in the past.  Due to this, we are operating on a limited capacity and are not actively recruiting for many of our volunteer opportunities. The active opportunities we do have, are listed below.

As an applicant, you are important to us and we are still accepting applications. Please click here to submit an intent to volunteer with the YMCA. Please note that we may not get back to you right away but know that your information has been submitted and will be reviewed.

Why Volunteer for the YMCA?

Volunteers make a significant contribution to our organization. They form the heart and soul of the YMCA. As a charitable organization our volunteers are ambassadors, providing us with a unique way to reach our members and participants.

We invest in our volunteers with area specific training, personal feedback, and the opportunities to demonstrate leadership, that gives our volunteers confidence they can apply in other areas of their lives.

Volunteering is more than just sharing your time and passion. It's about giving back to the community where you work and live.
