Sleep and your New Baby

Positive Discipline (Parents and Caregivers)

Thursdays, September 28 - November 2  7:00-8:30pm

Positive Discipline in Everyday Parenting is an approach to parenting that focuses on guiding behaviour that respects a child's rights to healthy development, protection from violence, and participation in their learning. Positive Discipline is based on research on healthy child development and effective parenting, and is founded on children's rights principles. St. Jacobs English School and YMCA Early Years Early Learning Program

The St. Jacobs Family Support Centre provides the opportunity for Low German speaking mothers to have access to parenting information and an English conversation circle as well as providing early learning programs for babies. The YMCA Early Years Educator provides children 2 to 6 with an early learning program in preparation for their transition to the school system.  For more information, please call Woolwich Community Services at 519-669-9323.

Monica Place Baby & Me

This program is provided for families accessing the services of Monica Place. Our facilitator provides opportunities for families to foster attachment and learning through the discovery of music, language and rhyming as well as various toys and activities. Families have the opportunity to connect with an Ontario Early Years Facilitator for parenting information, resources, referrals and support.
