 Who We Serve

The YMCAs of Cambridge and Kitchener-Waterloo are mission driven organizations, open to people from all ages and stages of life from a variety of cultural and religious backgrounds.  Everyone is supported in their pursuit of good health for life. The number of people involved in core programs and services has increased to well over 60,000 people across Waterloo Region. Children are a prime focus with nearly 50% of core participants under the age of 18.

 In 2009, more than 7,500 people were able to access YMCA programs and services when financial barriers to participation were removed. A total of $1,260,549 in assistance was provided by the YMCAs of Cambridge and Kitchener-Waterloo.
